In 1991, Phra Payom began offering poor youth from the countryside the opportunity to earn money for their education by spending their summer running their own small business at Wat Suan Kaew.
Students who participate in this project have the opportunity to manufacture their own products through a variety of foundations projects, and are given space to sell the products they make.
2014
In Summer 2014 with students from other provinces come to work to obtain a scholarship to study Foundation Suan Kaew.
This year a total of 600 people Suan Kaew Foundation will share the work done by aptitude.
Children will receive compensation at ฿150 per day and incentive and younger children will receive compensation, per day, ฿120 per day.
Everyone will get 3 meals and free accommodation to anyone.
Suan Kaew Foundation concluded this summer to pay about 4 million baht .
Most children are happy and expect to come back in the future.
